Our content is written by qualified experts in functional nutrition medicine and natural therapies and it is relevant to busy families those striving to lead a more sustainable, healthy life; who lean towards a life of minimalism, love the danish philosophy of hygge and who also like to throw in a pinch of frivolity and imperfection to keep life balanced.
We focus on teaching daily self-care rituals to support the stress responce, sleep and digestion, because it is the most powerful place to start and the most important area to maintain. From our decades of clinic work we’ve noted that most people look for complex solutions and yet very few are attending to their basic essential needs.
According to research, basic healthy lifestyle factors such as diet and exercise when applied together, are associated with as much as an 80% reduced risk of developing the most common chronic diseases. And yet most of us are not sleeping enough, not eating enough whole foods and plants, not drinking enough water or walking enough and are mainly operating from the flight flight mode instead of rest and digest. In other words we are stressed and depleted.
